This event is the first of three events in the City of Boston designed to address aspects of financing a meaningful response to impending climate change. The focus of today’s briefing is provisioning energy efficiency. Subsequent events will address the financial risks associated with adapting to sea level rise and more sustainable investment strategies for portfolio managers.
Attendees heard from practitioners in almost every part of the world, people who have taken action, achieved measurable results, and sometimes failed. They shared both their successes and the lessons learned from their failures.
This event was co-sponsored by the Environmental Defense Fund and Boston University.
