We are excited to invite responses to the Request for Proposal attached below to create a branded campaign for coordinated climate programming on behalf of a group of more than 40 of Boston’s most well-known and beloved cultural organizations, including the Boston Red Sox, the Museum of Fine Arts, the New England Aquarium, the Boston Children’s Museum, the Museum of Science, the Huntington Theatre Company, and many others, large and small.
No other issue is as urgent and existentially threatening as climate change. No other challenge offers such a huge opportunity for innovation, change, and creative adaptation.
Many of Boston’s most well-known and beloved cultural organizations have joined forces with each other and the Boston Green Ribbon Commission to implement the pilot season (April – October 2020) of a joint campaign of programming related to climate change in our City and beyond. The goal is to wake up audiences to new awareness, perspectives, and conversations about Boston’s climate future and our choices as citizens.
Time is of the essence for this work in more ways than one. Kick-off is scheduled for late April. We seek a creative partner that shares our deep sense of urgency about the project, about future climate impacts in Boston, and about the progress that this campaign can bring about. We request all proposals be submitted by February 3rd.
